Mr. Nilesh Deshbandhu Gupta serves as Lupin’s Managing Director, a role he has held since 2013. He has played a significant role in Lupin’s growth as a research and development powerhouse, and has been the key driver of the company’s expanding manufacturing operations. His strategic vision has also led Lupin’s emergence as a global specialty player and an upcoming complex generics leader.

A chemical engineering graduate from the University Department of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, Mr. Gupta graduated with honours from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he specialised in healthcare, strategic management and finance.

He has been bestowed with the Entrepreneur of the Year honour at the Forbes India Leadership Awards in 2016, and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2015.

Mr. Rajeev Sibal is the President, India business at Lupin. He is Director at Lupin Diagnostics Limited. He is a veteran pharma professional with nearly three decades of industry experience.

Prior to joining the company, Sibal held leadership positions in Glenmark and Ranbaxy.

He holds graduate degrees in science and education from MD University along with advanced certifications in sales, marketing, finance, operations and strategy from Michigan State University, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.

Mr. Vishal Rathi heads the business finance group of India Region Formulation, GIB Business, API business, APAC, Digital and Diagnostics. He is the Chief Financial Officer at Lupin Diagnostics Limited. He is a chartered accountant and company secretary by profession and is a senior member of the Lupin Finance team in India.

He has experience of close to two decades across Pharma, FMCG, Media, Banking and Audit companies and has done a wide variety of roles in Finance and Supply chain covering areas of corporate finance, partnering with sales and marketing, procurement, factory operations etc. He has been leading large teams in the last decade in various General Management roles.

Mr. Amit Kumar Gupta, who has been appointed as Company Secretary of Lupin Limited, holding 
Company, is also Company Secretary of the Company. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of 
Company Secretaries of India and has experience of more than 2 decades in the areas of secretarial, 
corporate governance and compliance functions, in leading companies in India in the cement, IT & ITeS, 
steel and construction sectors

Mr. Ramesh Swaminathan is Executive Director, Global CFO & Head Corporate Affairs of Lupin
Limited. He has over three decades of industry experience with reputed companies in diverse
industry sectors, of which 13 years have been with Lupin group. Mr. Ramesh brings a wealth of
knowledge and expertise to Lupin.
Mr. Ramesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant (India), Cost Accountant (India), Chartered
Management Accountant (UK), Company Secretary (India), Lord Chevening Scholar (UK) and
also holds a management degree from INSEAD, France.
Mr. Ramesh has also worked with reputed organisations viz. VST Industries, SPIC Group, Standard
Chartered Bank, Henkel and L&T. He has won several accolades, including the Best CFO by
Finance Asia, Best CFO in the pharmaceutical sector by CNBC-TV18, and Business Today India’s
Best CFO for best leverage management - large Indian companies.
